Oils & Yoga — A Timeless Union
In Ayurveda, the sister science of yoga, botanical oils have been revered for millennia as sacred conduits of healing. Applied before and after yoga, they prepare the body, deepen the breath, and extend the meditative calm long after the session ends.
At Atimukta — meaning “Liberation” in Sanskrit — we believe that pure, cold-pressed oils are more than wellness products. They are companions on the journey inward. Whether you use our Rosemary oil to sharpen focus before practice, or our Jojoba carrier to restore muscles after an intense session, each oil is crafted to honour your yoga journey.
How Oils Elevate Your Practice
Three moments in your yoga journey where Atimukta oils make a difference.
BEFORE PRACTICE
Warm a few drops of Eucalyptus or Peppermint essential oil and inhale deeply. Clears the airways, sharpens focus and signals your mind that practice has begun.
DURING PRACTICE
A drop of Lavender or Rose essential oil on the mat or pulse points maintains a calm, meditative atmosphere. Ideal for Yin, Restorative or Pranayama sessions.
AFTER PRACTICE
Massage warmed Jojoba or Argan carrier oil into muscles and joints for deep recovery. Restores, nourishes and seals in the warmth built during practice.
